{ He gets the last word.. }

"Keep a cool head. Stay alert.
The Devil is poised to pounce, and would like nothing better than to catch you napping.
Keep your guard up.
You're not the only ones plunged into these hard times.
It's the same with Christians all over the world.

So keep a firm grip on the faith.
The suffering won't last forever.
It won't be long before this generous God who has great plans for us in Christ—
eternal and glorious plans they are!—
will have you put together and on your feet for good.

He gets the last word; yes, He does."

1 Peter 5:8-9 (The Msg)

-----

no matter what the situation says, or even what the so called experts of the world says, it is God's word that only matters -- His word is only one that can stand against all impossibilites. everything that He utters from His mouth, even His breathe, holds power (to change our lives).

{ He tore down the wall.. }

" Your grace is enough, for me. "

1-6 It wasn't so long ago that you were mired in that old stagnant life of sin.
You let the world, which doesn't know the first thing about living, tell you how to live.
You filled your lungs with polluted unbelief, and then exhaled disobedience.
We all did it, all of us doing what we felt like doing,
when we felt like doing it, all of us in the same boat.

It's a wonder God didn't lose his temper and do away with the whole lot of us.
Instead, immense in mercy and with an incredible love, He embraced us.
He took our sin-dead lives and made us alive in Christ.
He did all this on his own, with no help from us!
Then He picked us up and set us down in highest heaven incompany with Jesus, our Messiah.

 7-10 Now God has us where He wants us,
with all the time in this world and the next to shower grace and kindness upon us in Christ Jesus.
Saving is all His idea, and all His work.
All we do is trust Him enough to let him do it.
It's God's gift from start to finish!

We don't play the major role.
If we did, we'd probably go around bragging that we'd done the whole thing!
No, we neither make nor save ourselves.
God does both the making and saving.
He creates each of us by Christ Jesus to join him in the work He does,
the good work he has gotten ready for us to do,
work we had better be doing.

11-13 But don't take any of this for granted.
It was only yesterday that you outsiders to God's ways had no idea of any of this,
didn't know the first thing about the way God works, hadn't the faintest idea of Christ.
You knew nothing of that rich history of God's covenants and promises in Israel,
hadn't a clue about what God was doing in the world at large.
Now because of Christ—dying that death, shedding that blood
—you who were once out of it altogether are in on everything.

 14-15 The Messiah has made things up between us so that we're now together on this,
both non-Jewish outsiders and Jewish insiders.
He tore down the wall we used to keep each other at a distance.
He repealed the law code that had become so clogged with fine print
and footnotes that it hindered more than it helped.
Then he started over.
Instead of continuing with two groups of people separated by centuries of animosity and suspicion,
He created a new kind of human being, a fresh start for everybody

16-18 Christ brought us together through his death on the cross.
The Cross got us to embrace, and that was the end of the hostility.
Christ came and preached peace to you outsiders and peace to us insiders.
He treated us as equals, and so made us equals.
Through Him we both share the same Spirit and have equal access to the Father.

19-22 That's plain enough, isn't it?
You're no longer wandering exiles.
This kingdom of faith is now your home country.
You're no longer strangers or outsiders.
You belong here, with as much right to the name Christian as anyone.

God is building a home.
He's using us all—irrespective of how we got here—in what he is building.
He used the apostles and prophets for the foundation.
Now he's using you, fitting you in brick by brick, stone by stone,
with Christ Jesus as the cornerstone that holds all the parts together.
We see it taking shape day after day—a holy temple built by God,
all of us built into it, a temple in which God is quite at home.

{ It's only Him, we serve.. }

"All of us are affected by what other people think, say and do in response to who we are.

Yet if pleasing other people becomes the goal,
you will spend the rest of your life chasing down your critics.
If satisfying the critics becomes your goal, you’ll never have peace.

God knows you and loves you unconditionally.

Remember that you serve the Living King…and not the critics."

{ Slow to react, Quick to Love.. }

Proverbs 15 (NLT)

 1 A gentle answer deflects anger,
but harsh words make tempers flare.

4 Gentle words are a tree of life;
a deceitful tongue crushes the spirit.

 13 A glad heart makes a happy face;
a broken heart crushes the spirit.

 15 For the despondent, every day brings trouble;
for the happy heart, life is a continual feast.

 17 A bowl of vegetables with someone you love,
is better than steak with someone you hate.

 18 A hot-tempered person starts fights;
a cool-tempered person stops them.

 23 Everyone enjoys a fitting reply;
it is wonderful to say the right thing at the right time!

 26 The Lord detests evil plans,
but He delights in pure words.

 28 The heart of the Godly thinks carefully before speaking;
the mouth of the wicked overflows with evil words.

 30 A cheerful look brings joy to the heart;
good news makes for good health.

{ God doesn't miss a thing.. }

"God doesn't miss a thing
He's alert to good and evil alike."

not by our might, not by our power, not by our biblical knowledge, not by our abilities, not by our revelations even or by our own form of grace and experiences, but, by the absolute spirit of You God.

let us not look at things with our physical eyes, as it only glance through the surface. open the eyes of our hearts Lord, yes open them wide, as we shall see beyond the obvious and into the inner meaning of all things pertaining to the matters of the heart, greater yet, matters to Your heart, matters of Your kingdom.

and wherever the Spirit leads, is to victory and greater victory! how can we lose with Your guidance and Spirit being so alive in us, springing forth the mighty rivers, affecting and resurrecting things that were once dead and lost to complete life and life abundantly.

{ Back to Prayer.. }

"Prayer changes more than things,
it changes YOU."

- J.Meyer

ever heard of the saying, when in doubt, just pray?

the very act itself holds so much power that stirs into our natural realm.
things visible is affected by the supernatural that we may not usually see quite yet.
but at the end of it all, in His perfect timming, His manifestations of goodness and supply starts piling up to portions our mere minds cannot dare to dream of.

humans as we are, our tendency is to pray and expect mirco-wave oven miracles.
what happened to God wanting to change us rather than the situation itself first?
what happened to being focused on the giver rather than the gift itself?

He is truly in the business of not changing the world, but changing the people living in it.
and with those impacted souls, they shall do likewise.

for God changes us to change others; inbuidling His characteristics and likeness.
indeed tranformation and growth is vital for every area of our life.
with Him, there are truly no limits.

"teach us Lord, teach us to know You more. we hunger and thirst for You very presence, and in the sweetness that we taste, we shall be eternally satisfied and not want anything less. we believe Lord."

{ Back to Waiting, but in Victory.. Pt. 2 }

Psalm 27 (The Message)

THE LORD is my Light and my Salvation--whom shall I fear or dread?
The Lord is the Refuge and Stronghold of my life--of whom shall I be afraid?

When the wicked, even my enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh,
they stumbled and fell.

Though a host encamp against me, my heart shall not fear;
though war arise against me, [even then] in this will I be confident.

One thing have I asked of the Lord, that will I seek, inquire for, and [insistently] require:
that I may dwell in the house of the Lord [in His presence] all the days of my life,
to behold and gaze upon the beauty [the sweet attractiveness and the delightful loveliness] of the Lord and to meditate, consider, and inquire in His temple.

For in the day of trouble He will hide me in His shelter;
in the secret place of His tent will He hide me;
He will set me high upon a rock.

And now shall my head be lifted up above my enemies round about me;
in His tent I will offer sacrifices and shouting of joy;
I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the Lord.

Hear, O Lord, when I cry aloud;
have mercy and be gracious to me and answer me!

You have said, Seek My face [inquire for and require My presence as your vital need].
My heart says to You, Your face (Your presence), Lord, will I seek,
inquire for, and require [of necessity and on the authority of Your Word].

Hide not Your face from me; turn not Your servant away in anger,
You Who have been my help!
Cast me not off, neither forsake me, O God of my salvation!

Although my father and my mother have forsaken me,
yet the Lord will take me up [adopt me as His child].

Teach me Your way, O Lord,
and lead me in a plain and even path because of my enemies [those who lie in wait for me].

Give me not up to the will of my adversaries,
for false witnesses have risen up against me;
they breathe out cruelty and violence.

[What, what would have become of me] had I not believed that I would see the Lord's goodness in the land of the living!

Wait and hope for and expect the Lord;
be brave and of good courage and let your heart be stout and enduring.
Yes, wait for and hope for and expect the Lord.

we wait and will continue to do so, not just to see the goodness of our Father, but to rather see His very heart.

"how faitfhul and steadfast are You God, for it is You who thickens our breastplate of armour, and strengthens us from within, so our core is grounded with fearless courage, and standing on You, our solid rock that cannot and will not be moved.

we shall keep on hoping and trusting in You completely, without a weaver or doubt that You are able, You are good and Your are faithful till the end. build us Lord, not just faith but steadfast faith that can stand against any adveries or impossible circumstances that our carnal beings are limited to.

because of what You have done, what You have accomplished, what You have put back in place, what You have finished, and what You have completed, we can expect and expect greatly and will not be put to shame.

how great are You God? how awesome are Your works?"

{ Close to You.. }

"The secret [of the sweet, satisfying companionship] of the Lord have they who fear (revere and worship) Him, and He will show them His covenant and reveal to them its [deep, inner] meaning."

Psalm 25:14 (The Message)

the only relationship that the other party shares it all without no reservations; holding back no good thing.
the only relationship that only wants you and not what you can bring.
the only relationship that truly satifistisfies every core of your being and creates life in you.
the only relationship that needs no reminder of love because His is constant.
the only relationship that drives every bit of fears and doubts because His is never failing.
the only relationship that invovles a creator, a saviour, a king, a lover and a friend.all in one magnificent being.

how not to go even deeper in your love that we never get enough of?

close to your heart is where we want to be,
and close to your heart is where we will forever belong.

( For it is He, who watches over us.. }

His eye is on the sparrow by Lauren Hill  & Tanya blount

Why should I feel discouraged
Why should the shadows come
Why should my heart feel lonely
And long for Heav'n and home

When Jesus is my portion
A constant Friend is He
His eye is on the sparrow
And I know He watches over me
His eye is on the sparrow
And I know He watches me

I sing because I'm happy
I sing because I'm free

"What's the price of two or three pet canaries?
Some loose change, right?
But God never overlooks a single one.
And he pays even greater attention to you, down to the last detail—
even numbering the hairs on your head!
So don't be intimidated by all this bully talk.
You're worth more than a million canaries."

Luke 12:6-7 (The Message)

{ Beauty for Ashes - Shane and Shane }

{ Back to His Way.. }

it is His word, this living word that stands against times and history, to direct us in this very life itself. every moment in our lives has an answer and solution, treasures to be found and promises to come to pass. every good thing that we read with our eyes, we are reading just a preview of His goodness that God Himself will bring to pass in experiences beyond our human comprehension.

in times of not knowing where to go, confused, lost, sting with fear and worries, it is His word that will light the way and His revelations and guidance that will be perfect in every step. even when we stumble, the loving God of the heavens and the earth, will gently pick us up, and walk beside us giving assurnace that He is on our side and no one knows better than Him.

"The revelation of God is whole and pulls our lives together.
The signposts of God are clear and point out the right road.
The life-maps of God are right, showing the way to joy.
The directions of God are plain and easy on the eyes.

God's reputation is twenty-four-carat gold, with a lifetime guarantee.
The decisions of God are accurate down to the nth degree.

God's Word is better than a diamond,
better than a diamond set between emeralds.
You'll like it better than strawberries in spring,
better than red, ripe strawberries.

There's more: God's Word warns us of danger and directs us to hidden treasure.
Otherwise how will we find our way?"

Psalm 19:7-11 (The Message)

on His word we shall stand, and we will not be shaken.

we shall be trees that are deeply rooted in Christ, planted in His word, and growing fruits that lasts and that people can come round and eat from. it is time to dig and go treasure hunting. golden nuggets here we come!

{ Back to being caught in His grace & love.. }

"I may fail a million more times,
but that means I have a million more times to experience grace,
a million more times to be grateful for the unconditional love that I’ve been given.
He who has been forgiven much loves much,
now you know why I love Him so much.
Love never gives up,
love always believes,
always forgives,
always accepts and I may fall short,
but love doesn’t give up on me and neither will I give up on myself."

{ Back to the REAL thing.. Pt. 1 }

"This generation of worshipers and leaders wants to be involved with a message that moves people to the core of their being. They are not interested in giving their lives to passive, plastic melodies or mundane methods of worship.
THEY DON'T WANT TO "PRETEND" TO KNOW GOD, THEY WANT THE REAL THING.

Once you've tasted the reality of God - not hype or excitement, but the great filling of His glory through your veins - your spiritual taste buds are simply ruined for anything counterfeit.

THERE IS NO SUBSTITUTE FOR HIS PRESENCE, for it is there that we behold His glory and we are changed."

- D. Zschech (The Art of Metoring)

{ Back to waiting, but in victory.. }

"I will wait" by D.Zschech

Psalm 62 (NLT)

1 I wait quietly before God,
      for my victory comes from him.
 2 He alone is my rock and my salvation,
      my fortress where I will never be shaken.

 3 So many enemies against one man—
      all of them trying to kill me.
   To them I’m just a broken-down wall
      or a tottering fence.
 4 They plan to topple me from my high position.
      They delight in telling lies about me.
   They praise me to my face
      but curse me in their hearts.
                         Interlude
 5 Let all that I am wait quietly before God,
      for my hope is in him.
 6 He alone is my rock and my salvation,
      my fortress where I will not be shaken.
 7 My victory and honor come from God alone.
      He is my refuge, a rock where no enemy can reach me.
 8 O my people, trust in him at all times.
      Pour out your heart to him,
      for God is our refuge.
                         Interlude
 9 Common people are as worthless as a puff of wind,
      and the powerful are not what they appear to be.
   If you weigh them on the scales,
      together they are lighter than a breath of air.
 10 Don’t make your living by extortion
      or put your hope in stealing.
   And if your wealth increases,
      don’t make it the center of your life.
 11 God has spoken plainly,
      and I have heard it many times:
   Power, O God, belongs to you;    12 unfailing love, O Lord, is yours.
   Surely you repay all people
      according to what they have done.

{ Yours Forever.. }

Yours Forever (You Took The Nails) - Darlene Zschech

it has been nearly a year serving in His house, and have to say, last night was one that has struck my worship cord if there is such a metaphor. is no longer just a practice but rather another anointed worship opportunity to experience His presence and exalting His name on high.

would not want a difference on how we sing on either the weds or suns -- it is time to give Him our all, whichever way He has so graciously created each and everyone of us to do so. the King deserves our very best, because we cannot help but be compelled by His love to surrender all that He has imparted us with.

when our hearts all unite as one, heaven starts to invade, and before we know it, we're in His inner courts -- sitting at His feet, basking in His sweet presence, and be empty vessels being filled beyond the brim with His magnificence and person Himself.

imagine, the very King of heaven taking over our mere human of a body and transforming, moudling our image and character to be just like His. how not, can we be moved? we want more of You Lord, You can have Your way.

truly He is the only man that could reach in and hold the very core of our being and love us just as we are -- "in Your love, my soul is free." (d.zschech)

never want to for a second to forget about the ultimate love act that He did 2ooo years ago. He took it all, so that we can be His forever. His death, has given us eternal life -- life that we never once deserved. no amount of our own doings can atone for His one very act that He never once thought of backing out on. His love went all the way for us.

we give You all the praise, all the honour, all the glory to You Lord. i exalt Thee! -- "death could not hold You, freedom abounds! i sing of Your mercy, the power of the cross!" (d.zschech)

{ In You, I can securely trust.. }

Proverbs 29:25

"The fear of man brings a snare, but whoever leans on, trusts in, and puts his confidence in the Lord is safe and set on high." (AMP)

"People are trapped by their fear of others; those who trust the LORD are secure." (CEB)

in this life, there is only one person's thoughts towards us that matters. and those are one that are never tainted by our doings and flaws, but rather of EXTRAVAGENT love towards us.

the eyes of others and of oneself, do not always see the heart first, because the tendancy is getting distracted to our moving hands and feet and what they would result in.

at the end of the day, it is simply about Him and you, embarking on the journey that He has gracefully planned out from the beginning till the end. there are seasons for everything,

but God is not a seasonal God, He is our PRESENT God - our present help, our present supply, our present grace, our present favor, our present protection, our present healing, our present peace, our present restoration and our present love.

the security is always found in Him, then of others that we can always value deep in. it was hard to let go of expectations, even ones that are right and Godly. came to realize that as soon as we expect from others (and it may come in unknowingly), it just sets us up to disappointments.

so instead, love, and love so sparingly as how He has taught and empowered us to do so. that way, our thoughts and feelings for each other is never tainted by our own accord, but of His - which is always full of grace and love that never holds back. it just keeps on coming.
