" Because you are special* to me, and I love you, I gladly give up other peoples in exchange for you; They are trivial by comparison to your weighty significance. " _Isaiah 43:4* (The Voice)

Worship is God centered.

As it is my very first time worshiping leading in caregroup, the daunting idea has made Him to bring me back to the heart of worship - "I will fall at Your feet, and worship You here" (This is Our God, Hillsong)

So here is what I got from various sources valuing our cry of worship.

---

(Hebrew)
Shachah: To depress - Bow down, crouch, fall down, do reverence, make to stoop, worship
(Greek)
1. Proskuneo: To kiss, fall or bow down before
2. Sebonai: To reverence hold in awe
3. Latreuo: To render religious service of homage (To royalty or God)
(English)
Worship: Literally mean to ascribe worth or something
---

The chid of God does not need special stimulants to bring about proper worship.

He centers his life on pleasing God, there is he is always happy to come before the throne of grace in praise to the King.
Worship is the response of grateful and humble people to the living God where submission, sacrificial service, raise, profession, testimony and gratitude is freely expressed in innumerable ways.
It is a conscious glorification of God flowing from an inner attitude of lowly submission to His authority and awe at His majesty.
---

Worship is God centered.

---

State and attitude of spirit. Since it is an internal and individual action, it could and should be done most of the time or all of the time regardless in place or situation. John 4:4:21
The nature of worship is from the inside out; Worship in spirit (in our hearts) and in truth (in our minds) - John 4:23-24
Worship in the spirit does not require our physical posture but to do with our inner most being.

The holy spirit who resides within us and who only knows the things of God (1 Corinthians 2:11) and who energizes worship because He is in essence glorifies Himself and in all true worship glorifies God.

Mind centered on God  and renewed by truth (Romans 12:1-2)

---

All worship is a response to truth, and that which is truth is contained in the word of God. Psalm 119:142, 160
Understand who He is and what He has done.
Expression of praise from the depth of our hearts.
Worship is the heart of God and worship is what God wants us to do.
Worship does not mean all those things that we do. Worship is in our heart; A humble heart - A broken and contrile spirit He will not reject saying: “God, we worship You.”
Humbling hearts, minds and bending of out wills to God.

---

"We need to worship God, because we need to worship God."

A Woman's Worth

What does “worth” mean to the modern day women?
As we are all aware, women from all ages and races would like to look beautiful. I mean, who wouldn’t right? But, to what extent though?
In an Asian society such as the one I am currently cohabiting, there are three main features in a women that are deemed as the most attractive and vital to have (or modify): Slim, Big Eyes and Fair.
This results in an attempt to achieve the slender size 6, dolly double eye lids and snow white oriented fairness stature which is seem as the ideal look. Or is it?
If diet pills, falsies, black rimmed contacts and whitening products are not enough (since they are just a temporary fix), the last option would be going under the knife to avoid the constant body maintenance that needs a daily routine attached.
So after such intensions of lippo, eye enlargement surgery and skin bleaching, and if all is carried through, would one still be happy with oneself? Because only the outer area is fixed, what about the the heart?
We find our worth in Him.
“So God created man in His own image;
in the image of God He created him;
Male and female He created them.”
Genesis 1:27
What is the image of God? One word, perfection!
And because He has created everything perfect in His image, we are also perfect! Our so called “flaws” in our sight, does not exist in His eyes because we are His piece de resistance.
Who will ever do a better job than our Daddy? No one. Never. Impossible.
Without God, nothing exist. His words, commands and breath gave life to all that was created.
We cannot help it, we are made from the hands of a perfectionist.

Preparation in the desert.

"Often, it is in the desert of anonymity and obscurity that God molds and shapes our characters, making us ready on the inside for all He has for us."

Christine Caine

---

think i have made my dry period a rut that i am scarily adjusting to.
the "not feeling it" card gets pulled out so often, and i succumb to it.

it is not the question of "where are You" but more of "what are You doing and can You show me a little bit of it? please?"

guess that is the curiosity and slightly inpatient side of me slashing out.
waiting = joy? that's quite hard to swallow.

rest and doing nothing is completely different. had two weeks of bumming and think it is more than time to get up.

there is bound to be a river among the dryness; having streams of water trickling down the cracks.

patience and endurance does build a new character in ourselves, removing all self dependency and attaching it to Him. i mean, who else can we depend on truly?

---

"Moreover [let us also be full of joy now!] let us exult and triumph in our troubles and rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that pressure and affliction and hardship produce patient and unswerving endurance.

And endurance (fortitude) develops maturity of character (approved faith and tried integrity). And character [of this sort] produces [the habit of] joyful and confident hope of eternal salvation.

Such hope never disappoints or deludes or shames us, for God's love has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit Who has been given to us."

Romans 5:3-5 (Amplified)

---

sometimes He changes us, and then the situation.
so lets make this new season of waiting a joyful one shall we?

and with God, it is always exciting!

It's all about Jesus.

let every word,

every breath,
every thought,
every need,
every dream,
every desire,
every thanksgiving,
every praise,

exalt Your name.

with everything,
with all that i am,
my only reward is bring glory to You.

how can i not get enough of You?
i, want, more!

#forever at Your feet.
