#Conviction: Offering My Heart to You.

as I am at Your throne,

offering my heart to You;

all of it containing all of my dreams, desires and plans,

down to every single bit of needs and wants in material form,

and when You take it and hold it at the palm of Your hand*,
(*You know my dreams, and You have a plan),

You pour in Your overwhelming glory*,
(*I want to be a reflector, shining Your glory letting the world know You live in me),

expanding my heart,

shining in with far more greater things;

above and beyond my expectations and abilities,

all because You got much in store for me,

and because You love me.

so here Lord, take all of me,

all am is Yours.

now this is what i call, a life worth living,

a life with significance and a purpose,

and a life set apart.

"But I have promised you,

‘You will possess their land because I will give it to you as your possession

—a land flowing with milk and honey.

I am the Lord your God,

who has set you apart from all other people."

- Leviticus 20:24 (NLT)

It is time, for a new wineskin.

"And no one pours new wine into old wineskins;

if he does, the fresh wine will burst the skins,

and it will be spilled and the skins will be ruined (destroyed).

But new wine must be put into fresh wineskins.

And no one after drinking old wine immediately desires new wine,

for he says, The old is good or better."

Eagles unite!

"Walk with the wise and become wise;

associate with fools and get in trouble."

It is time to soar with the eagles,

rather than be pecking around with the chickens.

Take Over.

Ever feel like the world is crashing down upon you?

The overwhelming weight has caused a lack of seeing God's promises.

You have done everything possible yet coming back to a stationary position.

When will this end?, as You murmured.

There is definitely time of joy, and time to lament.

But the so called venting has been over thrown with purely no feelings at all.

Numbness shadows in and your hope withers away;

like a flower when it is being hit by summer in a drought.

Is there a light in this darkness, as You murmured again.

You may be still journeying through it,

but no matter the duration you know it will not last long.

However (and this is a good but), during the whole ordeal we got company.

" For You are WITH me. "

He is our God through our valleys,

and even promised there is a harvest at the end of it,

the more comforting fact is that we are not alone,

He is right beside us every step of the way.

Even in a pitch black room with a small lighted candle at the very end,

you will be able to see it yet the distance.

It gets more visible the closer you get to it hence,

your eye no longer focus on the darkness,

but the brightness of the candle.

The moment we focus on Jesus despite our short-comings and situations,

thinking where is He at amongst the storm,

the moment we look to the eyes of grace,

while feeling the roaring waves and thunders,

The situation does not change yet,

but we do.

" I will not fear. "

 'Voice of Truth', Casting Crowns

Oh what I would do to have

The kind of faith it takes to climb out of this boat I'm in

Onto the crashing waves

To step out of my comfort zone

To the realm of the unknown where Jesus is

And He's holding out his hand

But the waves are calling out my name and they laugh at me

Reminding me of all the times I've tried before and failed

The waves they keep on telling me

Time and time again. 'Boy, you'll never win!'

"You'll never win"

But the voice of truth tells me a different story

And the voice of truth says "Do not be afraid!"

And the voice of truth says "This is for My glory"

Out of all the voices calling out to me

I will choose to listen and believe the voice of truth

Oh what I would do to have

The kind of strength it takes to stand before a giant

With just a Sling and a stone

Surrounded by the sound of a thousand warriors

Shaking in their armor

Wishing they'd have had the strength to stand

But the giant's calling out my name and he laughs at me

Reminding me of all the times I've tried before and failed

The giant keeps on telling me

Time and time again "boy, you'll never win!

"You'll never win"

But the stone was just the right size

To put the giant on the ground

And the waves they don't seem so high

From on top of them looking down

I will soar with the wings of eagles

When I stop and listen to the sound of Jesus

Singing over me

I will choose to listen and believe the voice of truth 

Accepted in the beloved.

"to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us 

accepted in the Beloved."

- Ephesians 1:6 (NKJ)

For You have created me with uniqueness and significance,

As I was born for such a time as this with a purpose.

I tend to live outside the box of social acceptance,

whereby being different is my speciality.

So it is okay if the world does not get me with judgement and labels,

You get me.

Because I was made by You, for You.

Now I know who I am, and whose I am;

I am Yours.

Eye is clear and focused on Your goodness.

"the eyes is the lamp of the body;

so then if your eye is clear,

you whole body will be full of light.."

- matt 6:22

faith + hope + expectancy = a bright future

and You said,

"I have already given it to you."

i only need that one,

to rise up and change everything.

(*one God appointed situation at the 'right place and right time')

for now, i will not fear,

for You are with me.

fill me.

here i am lord,

i have got literally nothing,

coming to you zero and empty.

Not satisfied, I want more of You.

Oh what a night of intense and anointed worship.

It was literally heaven changing earth.

God's presence was just magnificent and intangible.

Been having a dry period where nothing seem to matter anymore.

Directionless and confused, my care factor was slim to none.

Where has my expectations gone to?

In times like this, going back to the word injects life to our down state.

The bible not only gives life, it transforms lives.

Truth does not only sets you free, it also renews your mind of lies and distractions.

And the truth is, I am a child of God;

whom God  deeply loves, gracefully accepts, lovingly embrace, calls righteous, abundantly blesses and protects.

What else does He not feel or do for us?

This time round, I am in search of something bigger.

It seems like things that I thought would meet my desires,

has no longer got their edge and has fizzled their sparks.

The old does not do it for me anymore.

I am just not satisfied living a mediocre "Christian life".

Enough.

Jesus, I want more and more of You and You alone;

continually consumed with Your thoughts and revelations,

soaking in Your presence and whispered secrets,

giving You my heart of worship being so close to Your throne,

and resting just where You are.

" I found where I belong. "
