{ TodayDevo Repost: "He will complete it" - J. Osteen }

“And David said to his son Solomon, ‘Be strong and of good courage, and do it; do not fear nor be dismayed, for the LORD God — my God — will be with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you, until you have finished all the work for the service of the house of the LORD’ ”

- 1 Chronicles 28:20, NKJV

Is there something you’ve been believing for, something you’ve been hoping for that’s taking longer than you expected? You might be tempted to just accept things the way they are. You might be tempted to think it’s never going to happen. If that’s you today, be encouraged because God is a finisher! He will complete what He’s started in you!

Your part is to believe. Your part is to keep your eyes on Him. When you believe, you have the Creator of the universe fighting your battles, arranging things in your favor, going before you, moving the wrong people out of the way.

Don’t be intimidated by the size of a problem or the size of your dream! Don’t let circumstances convince you to stop believing. “Jehovah Jireh, the Lord our Provider, is still on the throne. One touch of God’s favor and you’ll go from barely getting by to having more than enough!

Begin to thank Him and declare that God is at work. Declare that He is perfecting what concerns you. Declare that He will complete everything He’s started in your life!

new, beginnings.

greater things are not yet to come,
they have arrived.

exciting times!

{ Faith that moves mountains }

"only believe,
when the natural mind does not get it."

- clint byars

and even if we choose to walk by sight, look to the cross

-- there is where we can faithfully put our upmost trust in the grace that was given so freely and willingly through the One person who did it all and made it all possible for us.

choose to believe even in darkness, because He said He has created us to be the light of the world.

choose to believe even in the fire and rough waters, because He said He will not let us burn or drown.

choose to believe even with your face down, because He said He is the lifter of our heads.

choose to believe even when you see lack, because He said He has opened the heaven's gates on us that never shuts day or night.

choose to believe even when you completely don't, because He said He is the source of our very aith.

{ In the midst of a storm, You'll still be faithful. }

after an awesome sesh of fellowship and holy com with dad, goes to show how one misses true connection with family -- especially one whom has impacted and is a living inspiration in your life.

"thank you dad, thank you for all that you've already done and still doing. you're truly a personification of His grace and love that knows no end. simply love you and am undeservingly blessed with your presence and difference you've made in my life."

even in the midst of the storm, He's here. like what P has shared and declared. that even though the waters and waves are coming at us, He's right here. for Him to be able to sleep through an unbearable storm, goes to show that He has empowered us to do likewise.

"for He died to give us rest. and so shall we be in His unchanging grace." (inspired by R. Morgan)

we have been given full authority over every single principalities, so why not just use it? the claim cannot be done because it is already freely given.

"He did not die in vain, for God had to bankrupt heaven." (shared by P through an email)

so let us not live as if He did not fulfill and completed it all, because He sure did. everything else that does not aline to what the finish work has boldly declared, it is placed at His feet and crushed under -- just like the head of the enemy.

we walk by faith yeah? we're not feeler by believers yeah? every hardship and suffering He has gone through was not to give us a normal life of cruising around without a true inner belonging and destiny.

"He died so we might live and live in abundance and fullness of the power of the cross."

let us not wait for an answered prayer or miracle and then give Him all the glory. instead praise Him in the storm! there is power when worship is let out through the lowest points and most discouraging moments of our lives. everything else has to break loose and free because where His presence is, there's liberty.

there is definitely a stirring going on that we are completely unaware of. He has one mighty of a plan set in place for our entire family which all He needs from us right now, is to trust and rest in His heart that is always for us. so nothing and no one can ever stand against what He has faithfully ordained from the beginning.

the bigger the mess, the bigger the message. the more testings, the more testimonies. everything will always work out together for our good; for it is said that in His word, it is as good as done. despite what we feel, think or see, let us not focus on the valley but rather God Himself as a person in our life. on how much He has brought us, and how perfectly faithful He truly is.

faith and love is not a term, it comes in  form of a person, and His awesome name, is Jesus. get to so know Him if you have not because His delight causes us to not help but experience favor that only came though the work of His hand.

"when all else fails, His love does not, can not, and will not."

looking forward to what He has installed specially for my family. He is Lord of all situation and future of our lives, hence some things may be not going in the direction, but there is no plan B for God. He had Jesus in His mind even before everything fell. that is how preamp our Heavenly Father is. nothing surprises the Fella, so why so we?

we're in good hands, hands that once was bled to save us, is now the very same hands who is lifting us up.  how great is our God? You are definitely worthy of all praise and none less.

{ Warrior with Faith! }

Gideon \gi-deon:

: powerful, mighty warrior
: great destroyer
: a hero of Israel who won battles though skillful planning and faith, rather than strength of arms alone
: a judge and conqueror of the Midianites
: example of a man of faith

-----

" The angel appeared and spoke to Gideon,
“The Lord is helping you, and you are a strong warrior.”

Gideon answered, “Please don’t take this wrong, but if the Lord is helping us, then why have all of these awful things happened? We’ve heard how the Lord performed miracles and rescued our ancestors from Egypt. But those things happened long ago. Now the Lord has abandoned us to the Midianites.”

Then the Lord himself said, “Gideon, you will be strong, because I am giving you the power to rescue Israel from the Midianites.”

Gideon replied, “But how can I rescue Israel? My clan is the weakest one in Manasseh, and everyone else in my family is more important than I am.”

“Gideon,” the Lord answered, “you can rescue Israel because I am going to help you! Defeating the Midianites will be as easy as beating up one man.”

{ Gifted to bring Him glory. }

"I have created you a voice,
that brings glory to Me."

was so loved when i heard that because for whatever He gifts, He gifts by His richies and glory and none other. no training can amount to what He has imparted each and everyone of us with. voices to not satisfy human ears, but to heal and fill their hearts, and transfom the realm they were once in.

the more i see how God has used Godly mates and leaders in our lives, the scarfice of love that they have shown to each soul in the ministry, goes to show how underseved one can be in serving in a house with such capacity to serve the King and His people.

for one to be encouraged by their words and actions, how much more when He tell us so? darls is right, it is a real privledge and honor to be in this call, and let us never stop singing and give praises to the One who has done it all. truly nothing can amount to this gratitude.

oh the greatness of His love.. no words can ever express, but just for us to simply fall at Your feet and soak in Your presence. this is where i want to be, this is where i want to linger, and this is where You are here.

"i worship You, almighty God, there is none like You.
i worship You, oh prince of peace, there is what i long to do.
i give You praise, for You are my righteousness.
i worship You, almighty God, there is none like You."

- old school hymn

{ DailyDevo Repost: "Get ready for the new!" by J. Osteen }

"No one cuts up a fine silk scarf to patch old work clothes;
you want fabrics that match.
And you don't put wine in old, cracked bottles;
you get strong, clean bottles for your fresh vintage wine.
And no one who has ever tasted fine aged wine prefers unaged wine."

- Luke 5:37

-----

Are you ready for a new chapter in your life?
In order to move forward into the blessings God has for you,
you have to be willing to let go of the old.
The things that are behind you are not nearly as important as what is out in front of you.
It’s time to get ready for the “new”!

You may have had some unfair things happen,
things that you don’t understand.
But let me tell you, you have come too far to stop now.

Instead of allowing those things to hold you back,
why don’t you let go and take a step of faith into the new?

It’s time to get a new, bigger vision;
it’s time to get a new, fresher outlook;
it’s time to rise up with a new attitude!

Instead of settling where you are, pick up and move forward.
Have the attitude that says, “I may not understand it; it may not have been fair,
but I am not getting stuck on this page.
I know God has a new chapter for me —
a chapter filled with blessings, favor and victory!"

Father God, thank You for Your faithfulness in my life.
Today, I choose to trust You with my past, present and future.
Give me wisdom to discern the seasons of my life,
and teach me to embrace the new things You have in store for me.

{ Cornerstone by Hillsong }

My hope is built on nothing less
than Jesus' blood and righteousness
I dare not trust the sweetest frame
but wholly trust in Jesus' name

Christ alone, Cornerstone
Weak made strong, in the Savior's love
Through the storm
He is Lord, Lord of All

When darkness seems to hide His face
I rest on His unchanging grace
In every high and stormy gale
My anchor holds within the veil

Then He shall come with trumpets sound
Oh, may I then in Him be found
Dressed in His righteousness alone
Faultless stand before the throne

{ Less is more. }

this week has been a trying one -- was actually down about something a few days ago. both mum and dad had to hear my lamenting. oh bless their ears of grace.

as comforting as they were, sprouting our words of wisdom and advise of being patient, it was overthrown by my mind and eyes being fixed only on the lack than supply, the destination than the journey, and the finished line than the process. yes, these indeed are symptoms of a typical gen-y -- "y not me?" or "y not now?"

all the plans for the future can be overwhelming with all the different scenarios painted in front of you with massive concerns attached to the many hypothetical reasonings. it does not help with the distance of where you intend to be and where you are currently having a huge proximity gap.

than as dad was graceful to send me to service shared something in the car which lifted my spirit. he was sharing about how God multiplied food to feed the 5000 and 7000. as natural as it is, when demand is high, likewise for the supply. but, we serve a supernatural God that does not conform to the standards of the world but the Kingdom.

He actually used less to feed more. dad finished off when this sentence that will definitely mark my journey when i may see the "lack" in any situation, that God uses less resources for greater needs so that men will know that the blessing came only from above. so the smaller the size of our own supply is, the bigger His supply will add onto us.

{ Forever God is Faithful by Michael W Smith }

"For He is good, He is above all things."

- M. W. Smith

{ Praise Report & Testimony: His love endures forever }

praise report of His goodness, testimony of His love:

dad broke the news of us finally having a place with the entire lee clan. initially my heart was still fixed on one preference that i thought was the best (mum did too), but He had other plans way before we did. better ones that is. guess we will see what kinder surprises it unfolds as He did not only meet one desire, but 9.

learnt that whatever best we are waiting for, God has His waiting for us.

having our initial prayer met and nothing compromised goes to show that His favor was already fixed with not only what our heart truly want but needs as well.

remember what R said after one gathering at starbucks with the crew -- we may have our own sets of standards of what we deem as best, but when God supplies another one which is entirely different to our own, it was actually what we truly want. nice.

at times, we would like to help God out after we declare our utmost faith warrior prayers. a hint of effort does not amount to His end of things as grace did not require any helping hand. so why should it now? *smiles*

had a random desire which was not spoken to Him about, and, He answered it. funny, i did not ask but hinted with my heart. remembered what BJ said about God answering his desires that were listed down at the bottom of the barrel rather than the top. goes to show, that in every bit of our lives, He takes full interest in -- the Signifcant takes significance in our insificance.

"we ask for more Lord. when favor is here, let it expand and go for miles declaring of Your goodness and work of Your hands (not ours). because of You and what You have done, we have every ability, supply and empowerment to reign in this life as it would be in heaven. thank You Father, thank You for Your constant love for us that simply never fails -- it did not at the cross, and so be it now and forevermore."

{ Intimate with The One perfect love }

relationship status:

joyfully dwelling in an intimate relationship with the One perfect love
- anonymous

{ Justified! }

"Jesus went through hell to give us heaven."

- J. Prince (Resurrection Sunday)

{ Different gifts but same origin. }

1 Corinthians 12 (Msg)

What I want to talk about now is the various ways God's Spirit gets worked into our lives.
This is complex and often mis-understood,
but I want you to be informed and knowledgeable.

Remember how you were when you didn't know God,
led from one phony god to another,
never knowing what you were doing,
just doing it because everybody else did it?

It's different in this life.
God wants us to use our intelligence,
to seek to understand as well as we can.

For instance, by using your heads,
you know perfectly well that the Spirit of God would never prompt anyone to say
"Jesus be damned!"
Nor would anyone be inclined to say "Jesus is Master!"
without the insight of the Holy Spirit.

God's various gifts are handed out everywhere;
but they all originate in God's Spirit.
God's various ministries are carried out everywhere;
but they all originate in God's Spirit.
God's various expressions of power are in action everywhere;
but God himself is behind it all.

Each person is given something to do that shows who God is:
Everyone gets in on it, everyone benefits.
All kinds of things are handed out by the Spirit,
and to all kinds of people!
The variety is wonderful:

wise counsel
clear understanding
simple trust
healing the sick
miraculous acts
proclamation
distinguishing between spirits
tongues
interpretation of tongues.

All these gifts have a common origin,
but are handed out one by one by the one Spirit of God.
He decides who gets what, and when.

You can easily enough see how this kind of thing works,
by looking no further than your own body.
Your body has many parts—limbs, organs, cells—
but no matter how many parts you can name,
you're still one body.

It's exactly the same with Christ.
By means of his one Spirit,
we all said good-bye to our partial and piecemeal lives.
We each used to independently call our own shots,
but then we entered into a large and integrated life,
 in which he has the final say in everything.
(This is what we proclaimed in word and action when we were baptized.)

Each of us is now a part of his resurrection body,
refreshed and sustained at one fountain—his Spirit—
where we all come to drink.
The old labels we once used to identify ourselves—
labels like Jew or Greek, slave or free—are no longer useful.
We need something larger, more comprehensive.

I want you to think about how all this makes you more significant, not less.
A body isn't just a single part blown up into something huge.
It's all the different-but-similar parts arranged and functioning together.

If Foot said, "I'm not elegant like Hand, embellished with rings;
I guess I don't belong to this body," would that make it so?
If Ear said, "I'm not beautiful like Eye, limpid and expressive;
I don't deserve a place on the head," would you want to remove it from the body?
If the body was all eye, how could it hear? If all ear, how could it smell?

As it is, we see that God has carefully placed each part of the body right where he wanted it.

But I also want you to think about how this keeps your significance,
 from getting blown up into self-importance.
For no matter how significant you are,
it is only because of what you are a part of.

An enormous eye or a gigantic hand wouldn't be a body, but a monster.
What we have is one body with many parts,
each its proper size and in its proper place.
No part is important on its own.

Can you imagine Eye telling Hand, "Get lost; I don't need you"?
Or, Head telling Foot, "You're fired; your job has been phased out"?
As a matter of fact, in practice it works the other way—
the "lower" the part, the more basic, and therefore necessary.

You can live without an eye, for instance, but not without a stomach.
When it's a part of your own body you are concerned with,
it makes no difference whether the part is visible or clothed, higher or lower.
You give it dignity and honor just as it is, without comparisons.

If anything, you have more concern for the lower parts than the higher.
If you had to choose, wouldn't you prefer good digestion to full-bodied hair?

The way God designed our bodies is a model for understanding our lives together as a church:
every part dependent on every other part,
the parts we mention and the parts we don't,
the parts we see and the parts we don't.

If one part hurts, every other part is involved in the hurt, and in the healing.
If one part flourishes, every other part enters into the exuberance.

You are Christ's body—that's who you are!
You must never forget this.
Only as you accept your part of that body does your "part" mean anything.
You're familiar with some of the parts that God has formed in his church, which is his "body":

apostles
prophets
teachers
miracle workers
healers
helpers
organizers
those who pray in tongues.

But it's obvious by now, isn't it,
that Christ's church is a complete Body and not a gigantic, unidimensional Part?
It's not all Apostle, not all Prophet, not all Miracle Worker,
not all Healer, not all Prayer in Tongues, not all Interpreter of Tongues.
And yet some of you keep competing for so-called "important" parts.

But now I want to lay out a far better way for you.

{ The gift is where the giver is. }

"No one was ever discouraged, corrected, or criticized by Jesus for seeking His gifts. "Seek the giver, not the gift" is a religious idea that comes from people who fear excess (in emotional experience) more than they fear lack (of experience).

If you happen to find "His hand" instead of "His face," just look up. They're not that far a part."

- B. Johnson

{ It is done & complete - J. }

{ Aftermath of what J. has done }

He did not die to give us nothing, He died to give us everything.
So that in this very life, there is nothing that we lack or is too difficult to overcome.
He has made the impossible possible, and so shall it be from now to eternity.

Start embracing the life of "it is done".

{ † = ♥ }

"After he took the wine, Jesus said, "It's done . . . complete."
Bowing His head, He offered up His spirit."

- John 19:30 (The Msg)

{ All I want is You. }

For we look to no one else but You Lord.
You are the very source of all goodness, testimonies and miracles.

 Let us not experience what we hear of others,
but of Your planned portion for our personal encounter.

There shall not be duplications or cloning of one's anointing,
And let our thoughts, words and spirit be only moved every-time we fall at your feet.

Some calling may differ from another,
but together, we function fully as one body of Christ in unity and honor.

You are one that knows our heart,
and indeed, Yours is what I want.

Let no one and nothing be of distractions or disturbance,
but in the midst, do enlarge in us patience and humility to overcome.

This is a journey where one is after Your heart, and nothing else.

"A heart for blessing in prayer,
A heart for passion in prayer,
A heart for discipline,
A heart for your husband,
A heart for your children,
A heart for your home,
A heart for spiritual growth,
A heart for service,
Becoming a woman after God's heart."

- Beth Moore

"I stand here in this place, see the glory of Your face, taken by the wonder of Your love.
I'm desperate for Your touch, never needed You so much, all I want is You."

- Shakers

{ Love came down. }

He did not die for nothing, He died to give us everything.
All that we would ever need in this life, it has already been paid for.
How could we ever lack?

The curse has been lifted, the vile has been revealed, and separation has been reunited.

He came willingly, He healed constantly, He loved unconditionally, He died gracefully, and, He rose again.

One sacrifice that redeemed all, this is our Saviour King.

{ Never give up! }

"sometimes our plans does not work, because God has better ones."
- anonymous

so never give up, because the victory is nearer that we think.
just one more push, one more knock, one more prayer.
if He shuts one good door, He will open up a better door.
we go by faith and not be our senses as natural as it is.
fact is our best did not come through, but truth is because it was to make room for His best.
good things last for awhile, God things last for eternity.

"Lord, we will still put our trust and hope in You, and are looking forward to Your plans to reveal itself. Plans that are above and beyond what we even thought it was the best. It is coming."

+ for He did not give up on us at the cross, we shall do likewise.

{ Grace knows no end. }

"Your failures are rarely fatal,
but His Favor is Final."

- B. Lim

have you ever reached the ultimate limit?
feeling in and over your head?
having waters that reaches the tip of your chin?
fire that keeps on burning with scorching heat?
thinking, it cannot get any worse off than this?
utilizing every bit of our strength to solve the situation?
yet it smacks you in a face failing in every which way?

there is a realization that our expectations on men will always fail us. if it does not now, it sure will later on. yes, the flesh is indeed never perfect. a very hard fact to bite when it comes to people who are close to the heart.

but if we have kept our hope in a form of a man, than we would miss out the presence of Grace in our lives.

and instead of being impacted by it's empowerment and impossibilities, the current state of our very being would definitely be still clinging on to unmet expectations which can only be found in one perfect being.

Grace knows no end. it fulfilled every single weakness that the flesh could never obtain and better yet, made the sinner righteous, the unworthy worthy and a servant a friend.

"Amazing grace, how sweet the sound, that saved a wretch like me.."

- J. Newton
