{ Truly marriage is so much more }

"Today my wife and I celebrate 7 years of marriage. 

We have been so busy getting the kids into a routine we forgot it was 15th Sept!! 

We both only realized in the middle of church service and I began to think of how we could possibly plan something last minute. 

I look over at her and she had started putting on makeup right in the middle of service. I asked "what are you doing?" and she answered "i have to look great for our anniversary." and like that... My heart was filled with joy! 

Truly marriage is so much more than just infactuation , feelings and the need to constantly feel swept of your feet. 

It is a powerful choice you make every day to trust and give of yourself to another person. 

It is a gift of daily opportunities to practice being an authentic person without being judged. 

It is never having to face failure alone, and seeing it as an empowering challenge to becoming better together and as individuals... Yes, especially when u fail each other. 

And....Its sexier than anything pornography or Hollywood could ever hope to be.
