As it is my very first time worshiping leading in caregroup, the daunting idea has made Him to bring me back to the heart of worship - "I will fall at Your feet, and worship You here" (This is Our God, Hillsong)
So here is what I got from various sources valuing our cry of worship.
---
(Hebrew)
Shachah: To depress - Bow down, crouch, fall down, do reverence, make to stoop, worship
(Greek)
1. Proskuneo: To kiss, fall or bow down before
2. Sebonai: To reverence hold in awe
3. Latreuo: To render religious service of homage (To royalty or God)
(English)
Worship: Literally mean to ascribe worth or something
---
The chid of God does not need special stimulants to bring about proper worship.
He centers his life on pleasing God, there is he is always happy to come before the throne of grace in praise to the King.
Worship is the response of grateful and humble people to the living God where submission, sacrificial service, raise, profession, testimony and gratitude is freely expressed in innumerable ways.
It is a conscious glorification of God flowing from an inner attitude of lowly submission to His authority and awe at His majesty.
---
Worship is God centered.
---
State and attitude of spirit. Since it is an internal and individual action, it could and should be done most of the time or all of the time regardless in place or situation. John 4:4:21
The nature of worship is from the inside out; Worship in spirit (in our hearts) and in truth (in our minds) - John 4:23-24
Worship in the spirit does not require our physical posture but to do with our inner most being.
The holy spirit who resides within us and who only knows the things of God (1 Corinthians 2:11) and who energizes worship because He is in essence glorifies Himself and in all true worship glorifies God.
Mind centered on God and renewed by truth (Romans 12:1-2)
---
All worship is a response to truth, and that which is truth is contained in the word of God. Psalm 119:142, 160
Understand who He is and what He has done.
Expression of praise from the depth of our hearts.
Worship is the heart of God and worship is what God wants us to do.
Worship does not mean all those things that we do. Worship is in our heart; A humble heart - A broken and contrile spirit He will not reject saying: “God, we worship You.”
Humbling hearts, minds and bending of out wills to God.

"We need to worship God, because we need to worship God."
