{ De-pride & Re-humble. Pt. 2 }

at times where we think we got it all with the "it's all good" confidence, the more so that we should really be depending on Him.

not only to dying of self, but a realization of also living with Him -- and wherever God is, is where He exactly wants you to be, and that is also where His goodness, favor, mercies, love, peace, joy, faith, abundance, supply, health, protection, follows.

only one can be chased. and that's, us.

failure in expectations in men goes to show that the ones placed on God, can never fail.

men does not only mean others, but as well as in ourselves. 

dependancy of the flesh can only lead to constant disappointments as instability reigns. 

only the eyes of God are placed in our hearts despite of our exterior and actions.

being results oriented goes to show how well we assume we can succeed out of our own.

funny, a life with a Saviour yet not depending on His existence and much undeserved grace.

to think we can try to save ourselves even when we know we are already saved.

wasnt it already done and finished at the cross?

{ De-pride & Re-humble. Pt. 1 }

pride is not a pretty thing, and it comes in all sorts. basically anything to do with self does have a hint or maybe a tad more of pride in there if we choose to admit it. (yes, that is what denial would normally do, or any self justification)

it is really not what we can do or bring or change as nothing good can come out of our flesh, natural behavior patterns and experiences.

if we could have save ourselves, than why did it take the King of heaven to come down and do the job? so it is what He has done (at the cross), what He has brought (eternal life), and what He has transformed us into (a new creation).

{ Confronting with Grace & Gentleness Pt. 3 }

"Anytime you get ready to confront something in your life,
there will always be a lot of "what ifs" that the devil will put in your head."

it is time to just do it scared.

aanother lesson learnt: that our only dependance at the end of the day, is Him alone -- even after heartfelt volumes of encouragement and grace from a precious GC.

anything from men are usually tempt, but anything from Him, is eternal, and adds on to our life. (and this inc. His voice being anchored through human mics such as C. yes, her steadfast and ability to see the goodness in all hearts of men amazes me once again. wait till it impacts a bigger scale.)

but truly, all we need, is You Lord.
am running into Your arms.

{ Confronting with Grace & Gentleness. }

being hurt by a random is another, but when it comes straight from the one who supposedly knows you better than those who may not get your heart initially, then the residue of a burnt victim still lingers. it has been a couple times where ones true colors are shown in storm like and sticky situations -- support much? hmmm, i wonder.. perhaps those are expectations placed once again for just mere disappointments.

got three lessons learnt today: one - to respect other cultures though you may be racial connected, and to discern who to share and not even when there is sufficient comfortability. two - to confront the situation there and then with much grace and guidance rather to have an asuumption of hurting another where you are the one feeling it. three - to be tightly secured in His love with or without any human aspect of support or affection at anytime. that one is tough when push comes to shove.

it is time for another change and transformation. here we go again.

just saying.

why be moved by something that looks or sounds good now,
rather than being willed by His own,
directed with His eye,
filled by His love,
and amazed by His grace?

we are made, built and equipped for eternity.

and this was birthed from the work of His hands and not us mere beings who may think we know it all through our own biblical knowledge, perfected skills, elegant characters and lifetime of experiences

even all of that combined will not even bring us close to saving or blessing ourselves. nopes.
it all comes from above.

not here for the good thing like everybody else,
we are all destined for the God thing,
and it started with Jesus.

now we're living (HIS)tory and not ours.

Grace calls out your name, marks your house a constant dwelling place, changes every bit of the old, and empowers you to do the things you cannot do.

food for mediating:

"when there is faithfulness, there is also multiplication."

so no matter where we are held at, let us not look forward to only where God is going to take us,

but rather have a God focus where each day, we undeservingly have yet another opportunity to learn,

and experience more of His presence and grace than anything else.

be faithful with your current God portions, because the rest that is coming your way, has volumes that are above and beyond what we can dare to think or imagine. our greatness does not even compare to His littlest. 

for He did not call us to be just ordinary people, but extraordinary and impactful in times and places where He is needed the most.

like Dad has gracefully reminded me, that because He said He has made us salt and light of this world, we just cannot help but shine.

"arise and shine.." oh that time is not near, is now.

for when He exalts, you stay exalted.

nothing can ever change or alter that position.

in anything, we would want to be placed by the works of His hands,

because there will not be any hint of carnality efforts performed.

hence no self maintenance or justification that needs to be done.

before men put a label on you,

God has already put the ingredients to go with it.

only He can upgrade you to places where no man can take you,

where countless of experiences and blessings can only come from above.

it's the power of His presence -- going against the natural, saying yes to the no's, manifesting the possibilities in the impossibilities, and mostly, transforming us into His very likeness. this is where we can truly and humbly say, that our lives are changed.

thank You Lord, for mountain moving faith. let it rise and penetrate our very hearts, and aline it to what Your word and finish work exactly says: "It is done, all I have, is yours."
