There are a lot of good ideas but in practices are really hard. People like the idea of doing good things and going to church, but following Jesus isn't just a good idea or a middle-of-the-road decision.

"Jesus doesn't want 'some' of you, He wants ALL of you!"

Crossing over to be a follower of Jesus:

1. You give up the right to "GIVE SOME."

Give all of what you have now and give as if you don't have later. The two curse words at Hillsong NYC are: "someday" and "almost." There is no middle ground at this church. And if you are in the middle, we still love you anyway.

2. You give up the right ot give up.

People give up when they get hit by something. But Jesus hasn't given up on you, so you can't give up on you.

3. You do not give up on people.

 But you also have to remember that you're not the one saving people, Jesus is! It's all about Jesus, not you.

He truly knows our love language. and uses precious souls like A, P, S & M to minister right at the spot that is weak, nearly given up (though we have lost that right ptl!), stressed, worried and just focused on what is wrong than what He has done right.

when words of encouragement spills over your circumstances that only He knows you are battling out, and He just uses your kingdom mates as anointed mount pieces, and produces some kick ass liners which points back to grace, you know that you are seriously loved and embraced by a Heavenly being such as Him.

worship creates a special place of just overwhelming peace that surpasses all types of understanding of our earthly life, and draws us in this sanctuary of joy and praise that one is flowing in the spirit rather than of the flesh.

there are alot of uncertainties out there, and sudden doors that has opened which was too soon... but sure that amongst all the dark clouds, the only silver lining, that He knows what He's doing, and whatever the case is and whatever i may agree or not gravitate towards, He's in control. and that's more enough to be still.

worship is the way out, and is not based on your circumstances.  there is power when we worship in the storm, because that is where all that is wrong with us, is focused on all that is right with God.

Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

Romans 8:26

Once, when my father was hospitalized, I remember driving as fast as I could to the hospital to see him because his condition was deteriorating rapidly. I was just sobbing in my car on the way there. I didn’t know what to pray. So I just cried and prayed in tongues, groaning in my spirit.

I believe that at that very low point, the Holy Spirit was helping me in my weaknesses — “For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered”.

The events that soon unfolded in the hospital convinced me that just a groan or sigh will reach the throne of our Abba Father.

I managed to reach the hospital just in time to clasp my father’s hand before he was wheeled in for surgery. The surgeons came out of the operating theatre some time later to inform my mother that they didn’t need to do anything after they had opened him up because they discovered that “surgery” had already been done on him!

Surprised, my mother answered, “He has never been operated on. I am his wife. I should know.” Not convinced, the surgeons told my father when he regained consciousness, “We opened you up and found that surgery had already been done. Whoever did it did a perfect work.”

Equally surprised, my dad told them, “I have never had surgery done on me.”

“No, you have!” the surgeons insisted.

As my parents and the doctors continued arguing, I found myself thinking, “My goodness, I didn’t even pray for a miracle on my way to the hospital. Yet, a miracle has just happened!”

My friend, when we who are God’s children groan as we pray in the Spirit, the Holy Spirit makes intercession for us with groanings which will reach the throne of our Abba Father, and cause Him to move powerfully on our behalf!
