{ A life of God-Worship }

Matthew 6:19-21

"Don't hoard treasure down here,
Stop collecting and saving riches for your own benefit,
it is not up to yourselves,.so do not keep many things on earth,
neither lay, gather, pile up, heap, store and put it away.

they will be eaten by bugs,
disfigured by moth,
destroyed by rust,
corrupt by dust,
consume by insects,
spoilt by vermin,
or worse, where men can break in,
thieves can dig through,
and robbers can delve out and steal them.

but instead, lay, collect, gather, heap, store up and keep your treasures in heaven,
where it is safe,
where no rust nor moth nor dust nor worm can destroyeth, corrupt, consume and eat them,
and where thieves do not break through delve not out, nor steal them.
it's obvious isn't it?

For wherever your treasure is,
the place where you keep things and where your riches are,
you may be certain that your heart will be there too,
and there the desires of it will also be,
as it is the place you will most want to be, and end up being."

agreed with H & M. DiMarco, it is time to unstuff and make room in my life for what REALLY matters.

and it starts with the deep things of God. - F. Sanders

{ Got nothing without You. Pt. 1 }

Revelation by Third Day

My life, has led me down the road that's so uncertain
And now I am left alone and I am broken
Trying to find my way
Trying to find the faith that's gone

This time, I know that you are holding all the answers
I'm tired of losing hope and taking chances
On roads that never seem, to be the ones that bring me home

Give me a revelation
Show me what to do
Cause I've been trying to find my way
I haven't got a clue
Tell me should I stay here
Or do I need to move
Give me a revelation
I've got nothing without You
I've got nothing without You

My life, has led me down this path that's ever winding
Through every twist and turn I'm always finding
That I am lost again
Tell me when this road will ever end

I don't know where I can turn
Tell me when will I learn
Won't You show me where I need to go
Let me follow Your lead
I know that it's the only way that I can get back home

{ A sinner worth saving. Pt. 3 }

"You know you were not bought and made free from sin,
by paying gold or silver which comes to an end.

And you know you were not saved from the punishment of sin,
 by the way of life that you were given from your early fathers.
That way of life was worth nothing.

The blood of Christ saved you.

This blood is of great worth and no amount of money can buy it.
Christ was given as a lamb without sin and without spot.

Long before the world was made,
God chose Christ to be given to you in these last days."

- 1 Peter 1:18-20 (New Life Version)

{ A sinner worth saving. Pt. 2 }

"Christ arrives right on time to make this happen.
He didn't, and doesn't, wait for us to get ready.

He presented himself for this sacrificial death,
when we were far too weak and rebellious to do anything to get ourselves ready.

And even if we hadn't been so weak,
we wouldn't have known what to do anyway.

We can understand someone dying for a person worth dying for,
and we can understand how someone good and noble could inspire us to selfless sacrifice.

But God put his love on the line for us ,
by offering his Son in sacrificial death while we were of no use whatever to him."

- Romans 12:6-8 (The Msg)

{ A sinner worth saving. }

worthy is the Lamb, who came willingly to be a sacrificed for all.

to grace us with the very life of His own,
while looking at the ones who whipped and spat on his once beautiful face,
and yet You lovingly saw each and every one of them worthy to be died for.

how not to be moved or compelled by our Saviour King?
for there is truly none who would do it in a heartbeat,

with every whip, slap, spit, nail, insult, pain, torture and suffering beyond any other,
through the darkness hours itself,
even when alone and left abandoned by Your very Father,
You never once stop thinking about us.

"You took the fall, and thought of me, above all."

{ Placed in His worth. }

[Forget About Yourself]
"What's the price of a pet canary? Some loose change, right?
And God cares what happens to it even more than you do.
He pays even greater attention to you, down to the last detail—
even numbering the hairs on your head!
So don't be intimidated by all this bully talk.
You're worth more than a million canaries."

- Matt 10:29

"You crowned me, with glory and honour,
and You place me, in Your worth.."

- R. Liew (NCC)

"Yet Jesus has been considered worthy of much greater honor and glory than Moses,
just as the builder of a house has more honor than the house [itself]."

- Hebrews 3:3

And whatever God places, it never remains unchange.

/////

let no one define your worth, but God.
"Jesus answered, If I were to glorify Myself (magnify, praise, and honor Myself),
I would have no real glory, for My glory would be nothing and worthless.
[My honor must come to Me from My Father.]
It is My Father Who glorifies Me [Who extols Me, magnifies, and praises Me],
of Whom you say that He is your God."

- John 8:54

{ Year of Unceasing Fruitfulness! }

Jeremiah 17:7-8

"Most blessed and happy is the man who believes in, and relies in the Lord,
sticking with Him with hope and confidence,
knowing what He will do and what He says,
for good will come to those who trust Him,
and the Lord will show him that He can be trusted,
showing His favor to the one who depends on Him.

And he shall be like a strong tree replanted in Eden,
growing over waters and streams,
with roots spreading by the river to moisture,
reaching deep into the water,
it shall not dread or be bothered with the days of the hottest summers,
nor will it have anything to fear as they are not seeing when heat comes,
their leaf will never drop, but it shall be and remain always green.

it shall not be moved or disquieted in the year of droughts,
it shall not be careful or stressed during the time of dryness,
it shall not be worried or anxious in the long months of the lack of rain,
but be serene and calm in those troubled and sorrowful times,
neither at any time it shall fail, cease or stop giving fruit,
never yielding but always making, bearing and producing fresh ones,
for every year, month and season.

{ My heart will sing, How great is our God. }

what a privilege to come into enter His courts with praise and thanksgiving in our hearts. oh the noise of worth-ship -- for once it was based out of fear with an enclosed vail, but His love has changed it all, and now we can freely run into His throne, be caught in His arms of grace, and bask in this freedom we definitely know.

holding bekah in my arms while singing to how great is our God, brings me back to the time where the exact same song was sung on both occasions of where a new journey was birthed from -- the first worship moment was at Naomi's cremation, our hearts were morning but yet still giving all that was left to praise Him, and knowing that despite the temporal loss, He is still good.

the second worship moment was at church, when He spoke while our thanksgiving was resounding in the place, with affirming words arrowed at my heart: "for this year, your family shall see no lack." and indeed in His time, He came through with more an enough for every single one of us. when God ordains, His supply never runs dry.

and this is yet another worship moment, where this time round, waiting upon Him is the best place and position to be, to receive and watch how He will unfold all that He has prepared us for from the previous year. the growth, stretch and lessons learnt will not be put to shame, but rather be utilized at the moment where the fruits will be fully ripe for the season and journey ahead.

"how great thou art?"

{ New year, but same God.. }

it has been one hour and forty-eight minutes worth of the brand new year everyone is looking forward to -- with great expectations and excitement on what You have already planned, which You will slowly and beautifully reveal in the ordained timing, place, people and purpose which You have pre-set.

the famous three wishes or resolutions that one deems norm, is now no longer set on one's own, personal and deep desires; though there are some deep longing of direction and answers, but this time round..

"i surrender to You.

every single bit of my dreams, secrets, expectations, security, and things pertaining to my very heart itself, and even down to the core of where one's passions lie, i lay me down for Your kingdom to come, and explode into the magnificence of all glory pertaining from You and to You.

on bended knee i come to Your throne of grace, not seeking anything that lacks of pure satisfaction but everything that involves Your very being and character of who my God is. yet another journey containing Your goodness, wildness and fullness

and so it begins.."
