Love in The Shadows
It’s dark,
My spirit is weak.
I can’t see,
Confused and dazed,
With gloomy surroundings.
I can feel the crashing of waves,
As the storm arises.
No longer able to breathe,
Stifling and choking,
Trying to stay afloat.
There is no rest.
The will to go on is diminishing,
Survival seems to be just a dream,
Just a luxury that never comes on by.
But Jesus,
You’ll never let me go.
Your love I will follow.
Be my light,
And lead me on.
Turning my eyes upon You,
I can walk on water,
and conquer the oceans deep.
You stretched forth your hand,
As I gripped onto a Savior.
Held by Your love,
Your strength like no other,
You carried me and made a way.
There is still hope.
Faithful as You are,
No matter what we do,
Your astronomical grace always encloses on us.
Abandonment is not what you do.
Even when the world seems to crash down upon me,
You always stood here by my side,
Forever with me in the midst of my troubles.
This is love in the shadows.

Running after You.
"I sought the Lord and He heard me.
And delivered me from all my fears."
Psalm 34:4
We call,
and He answers.
When we turn our eyes upon Jesus,
all our fears just fade away.
It is like what the song says:
"and the things on earth will go strangely dim.."

"They looked to Him and were radiant,
And their faces were not ashamed."
Psalm 34:5
And as we gaze into His loveliness and His holiness,
all the things that surrounds us,
becomes shadow in the light of Him.
We're reflecting His glory; radiance and light.
He is gloried.
and we're satisfied!
The (sweet) anointing is there.
The (shining) glory is there.
The (overwhelming) love is there.
Everything else that is distracting just disappears.
And now you're left with a beautiful Savior,
looking right at you saying:
"Beloved, You are always precious in my eyes."

"One thing I have desired of the Lord that will I seek;
That I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life,
To behold the beauty of the Lord,
And to inquire in His temple."Psalm 27:4
The only thing and the one thing that we desire,
is only Him.
He is the Lord of all of the earth.
He is the Lord of all our days.
He is the Lord of salvation.
In our lives,He's our everything.
We're here to seat at His feet,
Behold His beauty.
and Enjoy His presence over us.
Soaked in His overwhelming love.

"For as in the time of tremble He shall hide me in His pavilion;
In the secret place of His tabernacle He shall hide me;
He shall set me high upon a rock."
Psalm 27:5
When we go through stormy weather,
He covers us.
He hides us.
He protects us.
And as the storm gets higher,
we get elevated too.
The only way is up.
It is His grace that rises us.
It is His strength that gives us wings.
It is His power who makes us soar like eagles.

"My eyes are ever toward the Lord,
For He shall pluck my feet out of the net."
Psalm 25:15
When we turn to Him,
He helps us out when we get stuck.
He is our Yahweh.
Our Savior King.
He is here,
and He lives in us.
We've been set free!
and In His Freedom,
we will live.

"Delight yourself also in the Lord,
And He shall give you the desires of your heart."
Psalm 37:4
Be happy with Jesus.
Chill out with Him.
In Him,
is where you find.
Seeking Him does not make us lack or lose out.
We're always increasing and multiplying.
When you're in the presence of a generous giver,
and a good shepherd,
we shall not lack.
We receive and receive abundantly.
All is given,
Just come.
Come to our constant companion.
Reach out to our helper.
Talk to our best friend.
His love for us,
will never change.
